I noticed there's a lot of you with clinic date today..... it's ok ladies you can do this! I had mine the ither week, I was terrified as mine was a urgent referral, ht I actually felt calm the whole time I was there.
so I am sending out healing and comfort to you all for today and beyond , keep calm and carry on !!!
Mine was a 5cm x 3cm cyst which was the biggest they had seen today and drained there and then. As I am perimenopausal and recently had a mirena coil fitted to control my periods, hormonal changes mean that I have blooming loads. They refused me a mammogram as I already had one 4 months ago (which also was a cyst)
the hospital are trying to open a cyst clinic to stop people who have multiple cysts going through catastrophic thoughts like me. I said the gp had told me it was a 3cm hard craggy lump - the nurse at that point rolled her eyes and the doctor said it was hard because it was like a small tight balloon filled to the brim ready to burst
Oh that's great news for you! Really pleased to hear it xx they never measured mine at all , full breast ,or if they did they dudnt tell me , might be cause I've got a wound I don't know.
