I wanted to check in on you and see how you doing? I got a letter today confirming Firbrodema and it said on there it was after a MDT Meeting, which I think they had on Tuesday.  So I think if they had your meeting today you should get an update in a couple of days, although I'm aware all hospitals work differently.

So the biopsy confirmed it's definitely not a fibroadenoma. They suspect it's a papilloma. Samples  came back clear (not malignant) however because it's a papilloma and a small number of cases can develop into something more serious, they want to remove the whole thing asap to analyse the rest of it to check for any atypical hyperplasia. He said the samples taken were very small compared the rest of the lump 3.8, song e can't be confident the rest of it will also be benign unless this remove all of it to check. It will mean removing a large portion of my milk ducts and they said there's a high chance I wont be able to breastfeed from that breast.

 
So it's definitely not the worst news, but I can't lie ladies, I am a bit gutted. Surgery is at the end of this month. Until then im just going to try and get used to the idea of not being able to breastfeeding from that side. Then try and leave the underlying worry about whether the papilloma isn't something more sisnister until after surgery.

yes it's better that they are doing the checks as biopsy alone on this doesn't give a clear picture it's only after the operation that they can be certain but you are halfway there now better to have the operation and get yourself back to normal life .
