Gynaecology oncologist

A cyst was found on a cat scan, I then had a trans vagina l scan & ovary or cyst could not b found.

I saw a gynaecologist who examined me & now within 2 days I have an urgent referral to a gynaecologist oncologist, I bleed after intercourse, bowel habits are terrible. 
why have I been referred to one of these, also need a coloscopy ( help)

    I am in a similar position to yourself. I had a raised CA125, referred for a transvaginal scan which found a mass/ cyst on my left ovary. I'm now on an urgent referral for a gynaecological oncologist - appointment has been made for next week. 

    It's such a worrying time being in the unknown.

    I hope your appointment has a positive outcome  and they are able to answer all of your questions.
