Hello - I'm a 31yo female and have been experiencing a sore throat since December. I recently moved and switched primary care providers and am waiting to be seen by them in April. I have gone to the walk in twice since December, both times they prescribed antibiotics for my sore throat and cough. Sometime in January began ear pain and pressure. Then headaches started. I am occasionally short of breath when I usually would not have been (walking up from basement etc). Anyway, walk in did a chest x ray which she said was clear minus a tiny spot in my left lower lung. She didn't seem concerned about it. My throat feels worse every day, I have tried to get help online from doctors and one person told me I have cobblestone throat and thrush from all the antibiotics however it's on the very back of my tongue going down my throat. As well as white patches in the sides of my throat which I am told is from my lymph nodes. My neck has been sore as well.
I can not wait until April to be seen by my primary, but the walk in I go to doesn't seem to do much besides prescribe antibiotics when clearly it is not bacterial. I also have these patches on the insides of my cheeks, both sides. White line has appeared as well, going across my cheek. Someone told me it was salvitary glands and looked normal? I just need some help, any info or suggestions I'd appreciated. Thanks so much xx
