Hi no wouldn't discuss anything untill mdt  and results. Which aren't until Monday. So only then will they confirm what it is and what treatment needed.

My wife was also told this at her first appointment. So we know first hand how being told you have something before it being confirmed feels. You have that slither of hope.

We were told not to go home thinking it would be anything but BC. But you know, until it's confirmed, you have that small chance of you being one of the ones they get wrong. It does happen.

What i would suggest, but i appreciate everyone is different, is use this time between now and when you go back for the results to get your head around it as much as you can. We found accepting the worst resulted in us not having to pick ourselves off the floor for a 2nd time when we returned for the official diagnosis. However, others are correct, until those biopsies are back, no one ultimately knows. This is one of the toughest times mentally, the not knowing.

It depends on cancer type after biopsy of what treatment is required there are a few different types on breast cancer and they all require different treatments stage type ect whether chemo is required some have chemo first to shrink the tumour so it's smaller to operate on some have chemo afterwards some don't require chemo at all  so until the biopsy comes back you won't no what type or treatment you will be given .
