I'm so sorry for the stress this is causing Caroline.

Waiting for appointments is always difficult but I hope you can take some strength, and comfort, from knowing that so many of our members are in the same position so you are not alone and hopefully you will receive some support and advice from them soon.

I hope this article I've found on how to cope with waiting will help but if you feel like you're really struggling at the moment, don't be afraid of speaking to your GP as they may be able to provide you with something that can help you with your sleep and take the edge of the anxiety you're experiencing.
