I'm sorry to hear that you're currently waiting on some investigations for swollen lymph nodes. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious. 

As things have changed since you initially saw your GP then it's certainly a good idea to get in touch and update them. 

You may also want to call the clinic to ask about any short-notice cancellation appointments that may be available. 

I hope that you have an appointment soon and that the team is able to give you some reassurance.
