I'm sorry to hear about that lump your doctor found in your left breast and that the next appointment is still a few weeks away.

Not being a medic familiar with the specifics of your situation I'm afraid I can't tell you whether they'd have sent you for an early appointment if they had spotted anything suspicious. Hopefully other Cancer Chat members who had a similar experience will stop by soon to share their stories with you and offer insight.
