Just to clarify this isn't something I've had - awaiting appointments. Just wondering if it's common practice so I'm not shocked if it happens.
Hi Kieran
the definition of the 2 week referral pathway is that you need to be seen 'within' 2 weeks from the date of referral.
it isn't an appointment in 2 weeks, just that they have to fit you in within that timeframe. A quicker appointment would not be unusual.
I had my appointment offered in 3 days
The leaflet I received promised a phone call within 2 weeks, in fact I got an appointment within the two week period and referred for other tests. Hopefully you shortly get contact from the hospital and they will explain what they are proposing. Hope it goes well with you
