Two small lumps on nose

Hello everyone,I'm a 23 year old female and about 3 months ago I had a small rubbery kind of lump appear on the bridge of my nose,I went to the doctor and got referred to the dermatologist but it's been almost 18 weeks now and I've still heard nothing. Since being to the doctors another one of these lumps has appeared on the tip of my nose which is concerning me. The GP did say she wasn't concerned about cancer but it was a 5 minute chat so I'm worried she was wrong. The lumps are small, like two tiny rubbery balls, painless, when I press on them they seem a bit squidgy and moveable. What are the chances of this being skin/nasal cancer? This is really ruining my experience as a new mum to my 7 month old boy as im always anxious and obsessing

  • Hello Gwbray

I'm sorry to hear you've got some ongoing health concerns at the moment. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious.

As you've now developed another lump since first seeing your GP it would be sensible to get in touch with them and let them know so that they can update the referral if needs be.

We know from the forum that people seem to be experiencing some delays with dermatology referrals across the UK at the moment. Hopefully, you won't have to wait too long.

I hope you have some reassuring news soon.

    Best wishes,
