Hi there!
The last few weeks I've been exhibiting all the classic signs of lymphoma (lump in neck increasing in size, night sweats, exhaustion, breathlessness etc). Just got off the phone with my doctor this morning and he said my bloods were all completely normal (barring a sub-clinical overactive thyroid I've had for years) and he wants to discuss with his colleagues any next steps. I have a strong family history of Hodgkin's Lymphoma and most people got diagnosed around my age (I'm 27) and my doctor is aware of this. It's also always been unusually aggressive in my family, and my father actually died as a result of it.
I'm unsure if I should press my doctor to rule out lymphoma given the symptoms and family history. I'm also aware this could be something unrelated and I'm simply worrying because of the family history. I'm also confused that I have all these symptoms and normal blood work. But the bottom line is I know something is wrong with my health and I'm unsure what steps to take next. Advice would be appreciated.
