Urgent Referral to Gynecology

Hey,

A bit of background - I'm 10m PP with my 2nd child, I have the contraceptive implant and I'm 29. I went to the GP on Friday with intermittent bleeding (Sometimes red and heavy, sometimes brown and discharge, sometimes smelly). She examined me and said I have "cervical ectropion" and I was bleeding when she examined me.  I have been referred urgently to gynecology. I'm fully aware that this could go any way and I suppose I'm just looking for a hand hold while waiting for my appointment. I have a mild prolapse and genuinely thought this is why I was bleeding. Since I've had the implant I don't have a period I just bleed "on occasion". Never after intercourse as typical ectropion states so I'm unsure as to what is irritating my cervix which then makes my mind go in over drive.

Thanks TM x
