My daughter was seen on a 2ww appointment with Haematology and had lots of blood tests done. She has now had a letter from the hospital informing her of a telephone appointment in 3 weeks time. She is only 17 and I am really worried that they may break bad news to her over the phone. An initial scan did show a slightly enlarged spleen and abnormal liver blood test results. Would they discuss cancer concerns over the phone with someone so young?
