Snap! I am in the same boat as you PSA of 9.4, 8.7 and finally 12. When it should be around 4 

after mri And biopsy informed that I had  prostate cancer now have hot flushes on hormone therapy and waiting for radiation treatment in mid March

Have to keep positive that I can get though this disease and beat it

I don't mind at all I am 74,

I have had a problem peeing,for about 10 years,but never had a PSA the,doc at the,time prescribed TAMSULOSIN 400mcg said they would relax the muscle surrounding the prostate 

it wasn't until I moved house and changed doctors 3 years ago that I was given a PSA test.

I have a problem with my left hip after I have been walking for 15minites get hell of a pain going down my leg into my foot it goes away after I have fond somewhere to sit down for a few minutes  it returns again after 15minites again and so on.

pain killers have no effect. 

Thanks for replying,  just hopeful for my mri. They said they would consider a biopsy after that, but I am very scared of that. I said I'd have to have a general anaesthetic
