My GP has sent an 2 week referral as I have a lump on my thyroid however my appointment is a telephone consultation! Is this normal? Surely I would have a face to face appointment
Welcome to the forum Kagsy although I'm sorry for the confusion surrounding your referral.
Every part of the UK operates a bit differently and this may be the standard procedure for 2 week referrals for where you are at the moment, but if you're worried and have a contact number for the department carrying out the telephone consultation, you could try giving them a call to query this.
