Hi , I am waiting an urgent appt for colon cancer . I am terrified and finding hard to cope ! I have low iron and b12 and as I am 60 in a week , red flagged . Any helpful advice appreciated
Hello,I am awaiting an urgent colonoscopy appointment too.Have had recent stomach upsets but all back to normal now. qFIT (stool test) result 92. My anxiety is through the roof and waiting is not easy.
I am also on the 2ww and sympathise with you both as I too am absolutley thinking the worst.
My doctor tried to reasure me today but my brain can't think of anything positive. We always see the bad stories and never good, never the negatives results, the all clear. I have been informed that the 2ww is now standard procedure with any FIT test over 10 and I am sure it is standard aswell for any symptoms that over lap with bc, which there are many of.
I urge you to read this thread I found on here. It is full of positive outcomes and it started like this, a few people who were scared of their positive fits or other symptoms.
