I am going through the 2 week wait as well.

Were you given a FIT test ? 

Ive been sat worried all weekend, crying, panicking.looking at my 6 year old and being in bits.

I have symptoms that come and go but include a lot of blood when they are here.Ive had this for about 8 or 9 years off and on. Went to doc with most recent bout and got given a FIT test which came back positive, bloods after the episode showed I was aneamic and on 2WW however was told nothing else 

Called GP today, in bits and said I felt left in the dark and im in pure panic mode. She then told me my FIT result was 72 (a previous doc said 172) and that I was boderline aneamic, that the rest of my bloods are fine and not indicative of anything serious however postive FIT, no matter the number are referred on the 2WW..

If you dont have bleeding then the referral will be to rule out what its not so they can get to the bottom of what it is. Your symptoms are indicative of so many things.

Personally I also think they have targets to meet with referalls.

Its so hard not to worry, it might be worth a call to your doc to explain their thinking to you xx
