Hi, I am new to the forums. I have a gastroscopy on February 13th and am terrified. I have been experiencing some pretty severe symptoms of pain inbetween my shoulderblades, pain in my ears neck etc. I have also been burping all the time and been very unwell. I am 33 and not a smoker, I gave up smoking about 10 years ago and have been using gum NRT on and off. I am worried the gum has caused esophageal cancer it's the only diagnosis I can think of given my symptoms.
