Hi all, 

I am sure this isn't the right place to post however I am at loss. I have been suffering from pain on my lower left side of abdomen for around 2 years. I am 34 female with 2 girls aged 3 and 10. I've never had problems beforehand, I am usually fit and healthy, take no medications etc.. 

so the pain is nearly daily, it can vary from small dull pain to servere pain and extreme tenderness. It is really starting to effect my day to day life. It is always located in the lower right side, never anywhere else. I have a variety of stools and pencil like ones. I have had some blood in stools but only a couple of occasions, it's been dark. 
I have had a colonoscopy which was fairly normal apart from one large polyp which was removed. 
I have recently had a mri and awaiting results but I am convinced it will be normal and I won't get anywhere! I am worried something is going on. I thought maybe it was ibs so tried a low fod map but to no success really. It doesn't matter what I eat it still happens. My gastro said my symptoms are not constant with ibs as it is very localized and with ibs it would potentially be pain across the stomach. 
Anyone else experienced this? Or gone through similar.
