Our friendly and informative team of cancer nurses should be able to offer some insight so if you'd like to speak to them about this, you can give them a call on 0808 800 4040. Their phone lines are open Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m and they'll do all they can to answer your questions about the test and your results.

As far as I am aware it just means that blood was found in your stool and an urgent referral..2 week pathway is now standard procedure with this result.

I also went to the doctor due to passing blood and got a positive FIT test. I have also been referred on the 2 week path way.
