Hi everyone, I discovered a large solid and non movable lump in my sons neck on Christmas Eve (similar shape and size to the middle of an avacado) we saw a GP and have been referred for a scan on 7th feb. However in the last couple of months my son has experienced many episodes where he has felt as if he's about to pass out (from what he has described it sounds like this), he often complains of nausea which usually comes with a hot flush and feeling dizzy with ringing ears where he feels he needs to lay down, he also goes pale and the school have informed me of this once on a school trip in November, but it now seems to be happening weekly. Sometimes the nausea happens without this. Other than this he's generally well and active with a good appetite. He's had one day he complained of a headache for a full day but it hasn't happened since. I guess I just want to know if these symptoms alongside the neck lump could be signs of cancer? Or if anyone has had similar symptoms and what the outcome was. Trying to stay positive.
