Second opinion

Hey,

I messaged before about seeing the consultant, well I did go and see one and he was very dismissive, he didn't scan/mammogram me, didn't ask symptoms, had a very quick feel and said I was fine and to go.

It is worrying as my lump hasn't changed it's still hard/not painful and not moveable, he didn't feel the lump. He dismissed my armpit as a 'fat pad' told me he 'wasn't slagging the other doctor off but he knows what he's doing" the reason I was refered as my gp asked me too, then saw a doctor at the walk in who accelerated the gps referal. But both these doctors had spoken to me, I've got family history of cancer too, but I've never felt so ignored in my life.

I've had strange symptoms for over a week now, my right arm feels dead/pins/needles and still dizzy a lot. that alongside my lump/ breast feels very hard.

I am going to back to my GP as I feel very upset that I was dismissed. This is my first sad experience with the nhs and I've always felt previously (not that I've been a lot to be fair) that it's always been amazing.

would you go back? Do you think it's possible to see a different consultant?

Thank you, Carla x
