Ca125 blood test

I'm so scared,

im 30 years old and 28th of December I had a blood test didn't realise what the doctors where looking for until l got a call to say my ca125 level was really high and I was referred for gyne appointment. Skip two weeks I've been seen today levels of ca125 are 159 which are obviously really high, nothing showed on scans but he said I have all symptoms of endometriosis and my ovary's are looking bulky, I've looked into this and it's definitely a sign of cancer. I'm absolutely petrified. I have two young children who need their mummy.

im meant to be receiveing a phone call Friday with the next steps as he wants a second opinion to see if i need a scan before surgery. I have no idea what to do or who to turn to, I'm not sleeping, eating barly I constantly have tummy and back ache and feel so depressed. Is there any stories like mine with success and it not being cancer?

Welcome to the forum Kezzisouth although I'm sorry for the stress and worry your ca125 results are causing.
As you'll see here, a high level could be an indication of many things, not just cancer, so if you can, try to remind yourself of this when you find your worries are getting the better of you.
Many of our members know how scary it can be to get a similar result so you are not alone and hopefully some of them will be along soon to share their experiences and advice.
