Waiting for results after hysteroscopy

I had hysterocopy over 1 week ago and the pain was horrendous, I was crying for it to stop but was told better to get it over with once. I'm 62 and would never go through it again if I had to, so hopefully results will be ok. I don't smoke nor am I overweight.

    I'm really sorry to hear about your hysteroscopy experience. It sounds like it was very difficult but I'm glad you managed to make it through the procedure and hopefully it won't be long until your results come through.

    Waiting for results is always tough but our community are here for you and hopefully some of our members will be along soon to offer their support and advice.

    I hope the tips given in this article prove useful as well.

    Hi Harebell, I'm so sorry you had to go through that, I hope you get good news when the results come through. I'm waiting to be seen by Gynae at the moment and will probably need a hysteroscopy, absolutely dreading it as I've seen so many awful accounts of it especially in women post menopausal or who've not given birth (which I haven't)

    I've been waiting 2.5 weeks for my hysteroscopy and biopsy results and haven't heard. I feel sick with worry x

    Hi I got my results after 3 weeks but everything was normal, the polyps were what was causing the bleeding from vagina and in stools, all is normal thankfully, I hope you get ur results soon with a good outcome x
