Sadly you can't tell what this cancellation means. It could be because of the nurses strike causing backlogs. It could be that your results aren't expected to be back in time for the 25th (which is more likely because most hospitals are taking 6 to 8 weeks at the moment).

They should really send another notification with a rearranged date. I've had my scan results appointment cancelled in one letter and at the same time received a second letter with the new date, so maybe another notification is in it's way to you. The only way you can know for sure is to ring dermatology and they should be able to tell you what's happening.
