Pre diagnosis

Yesterday I went to the doctors as I had found a lump, which the doctor has referred to as a 'gallbladder mass'. I didn't ask half the questions that I should have as I was so shocked. I have been referred for bloods and an ultrasound. I have no idea in the wait time for the ultrasound at the moment. Bloods are on the 24th. All the information I have read on this does not give a good outcome if it is positive. Can anyone share their experiences please. To say I am terrified is an understatement. Thank you for reading.

    Hi that seems a long time to wait to get bloods done ,I suppose its where you are in the Country but I had bloods done on the same day and as soon as the results were back the Advanced Nurse rang me and said he'd already set the ball rolling to attend 2 hospital appointments within the 2 ww  and  both appointments arrived before the 2 weeks .Hopefully your ultrasound will come through quicker to put your mind at rest .

    Hi Jenny,

    sorry. I thought I had replied to you. It does seem a long time to wait. I went back to the doctors today to see if I can go privately. I can, but have to wait for a referral letter now. I just want it done!! I know I am impatient, but not very good at waiting for things that are important. Hopefully things will start to move soon. I live in Berkshire and there are very long waiting lists for everything. Hope you are ok, and thank you for replying. X
