Hi all, about a month ago I noticed my right boob was very red. I went to my GP twice and on the second time she refered me to the breast cancer clinic just before Christmas. I suffer with health anxiety and this was a week before Christmas. I went private and was told it was non lactational mastitis and I was also told it would be good to have an ultrasound because my nipple was inverted, the ultrasound come back and was fine apart from my nipple was slightly inflamed underneath but she explained it would sort itself out with the antibiotics. However after two weeks of antibiotics it didn't clear up.  I've got another appointment with the private breast consultant tomrorow at 18:00 hrs. I am also now on a second dose of stronger antibiotics which I started two days ago. My breast isn't swollen, however it's pitted around my nipple and my nipple is inverted. Should I trust the ultrasound two weeks ago?! I'm worrying so much but trying to be positive infront of my husband and children.
