Just looking for some advice. I had an appointment at the breast clinic a few months ago after finding a lump in my breast along with swelling and a little bit of pain. The nurse did an examination and that was the end of the appointment, she said that pain is good and that everything seemed fine. Whilst I understand that pain is not a worrying symptom I can’t help but still be quite concerned. My breast is quite painful with pain in my underarm and it is extremely sensitive to any sort of touch. Even wearing a bra is really irritating. I’ve also got an inverted nipple and itching which is unusual. I’m 21 so I understand that the possibility of it being anything serious at my age is quite low but my cousin was quite young when she was diagnosed with breast cancer so I don’t know whether to get it checked by my GP again. If anyone has experienced similar symptoms and has any advice then I would really appreciate it.
