Yes, I was 1a grade 3 with clearcell. In March I'm 2 years clear. I have my next check up on Friday, so hope still all ok. I will always wonder if or when might get recurrence but trying to keep that thinking away.

hopefully ur polyp will be ok, are they going to remove it then send for tests ?? Will u take hysterectomy if offered to you

That's the plan this week and also a cervical biopsy. They have said it's definitely not a standard polyp that's why it needs to be removed in surgery... it's currently blocking access to my womb! I would take the option if it's offered. I don't want anymore children so I'm fine with that.

Had the operation today, found the dr quite abrupt. All they said was they found some polyps and scar tissue and have sent off biopsies for the polyps, cervix and the lining of the womb..... then said I won't have an appointment for 4 months without mentioning when I'd have the results back?!? Am I to take this as they are no longer worried etc. My brain is fried!

Hiya, least this part is out the way, I got a phone call 10 days later, but do realise they are now backed up so may be why u have longer wait. Docs can come across as abrupt can't they, sometimes I think they forget what they see every day and is normal to them, is our lst time and we scared. Is an awful long time to wait and going to be stressful waiting, but hang in there, hopefully you will hear sooner x

4 months is a long time, but try and not worry in the meantime... easier said than done, hey?

Thank you for replying :happy: My partner said the same, it's their job they do this day in day out and are just focused on getting done what needs to be done. I'm hoping the results are sooner than 4 months as that's then 5 months since being first seen x

I'm trying to think that they can't be concerned if they are saying 4 months but it doesn't stop the worry either way :confused:
