I went to the doctor a couple of months ago because I was suffering regularly with diarrhoea and I was pretty sure I had IBS.
He ran full bloods and my CA 125 level came back as 57. He said to repeat that test in a month but he would only be concerned if the level goes up. I've checked the app for my recent results and this time my level is 56 and marked as 'Satisfactory no further action'
Everything I've read has said that over 35 should warrant more tests and that 99% of healthy people have levels under 35 which implies that there is likely something wrong even if not cancer.
I've booked an appointment for 2 weeks time, but really looking for advice on what I should say.
