Symptoms - looking for advice

Hi I was looking for a bit of advice...im sorry it's a bit of a long one so please bare with me.

I normally keep fit and healthy and never really go to my GP for anything.

i had been experiencing really bad pelvic pain and lower abdominal pain for a good number of weeks.  After a number of internal scans it was discovered I had blood retention in my uterus which then had to be manually drained.  I was given antibiotic cover for any infection that might have been left.  The consultant was amazing but couldn't give me any reason of why this happened.

My abdominal pain has now gone but I have noticed I have a swollen lymph node on the left side of my collar bone, it has went down a bit but I can still feel its quite hard, I also developed a itchy rash in both my legs.   I have also been experiencing pain in both my shoulders and severe lower back pain.  Im normally up and at the gym 5 days a week but have been getting really bad fatigue to the point I could Sleep all day.

i did see the out of hours GP who ruled out an infection as i had just completed a two week course of two different antibiotics. The doctor wrote to my own GP to advice a referral for a chest X-ray. She did ask was there a history of cancer in my family.

I was just wondering if anyone had experienced similar symptoms. I appreciate the symptoms are a bit random with the blood retention and things but thought it would be worth while asking.
Again sorry for the long story.

It's good to hear that the Out of Hours Dr has written to your GP and I'd encourage you to get in touch with your Dr if you've not already done so. Hopefully they will be able to get any appropriate tests arranged quickly to give you some answers and peace of mind.

If you wanted to chat through your concerns with one of our nurses you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040 (excluding bank holidays).
