I have had heavy bleeding since august 22 and my GP said it was the menopause . The bleeding was so bad thy 5 weeks ago I went to A&E because I was breathless and generally feeling unwell. They told me my uterus was palpable to that of 16 week foetus . I'm 54. To cut a long story short my smear test came back HPV positive , needed a blood transfusion due to anaemia. Had colposcopy and biopsy's and have an MRI at 11am today . The specialist called me at 9pm last night and wants to see me straight after my MRI to discuss my results . I'm so frightened , I lost my husband 3 years ago and my mum straight after and I'm feeling so alone . I'm trying not to worry , but can't sleep - the waiting for results has been unbearable
