Help - been waiting 7 weeks for biopsy results. Struggling.

I'm waiting for biopsy results. Already had breast cancer so not coping well as only information is that biopsy has been sent to another hospital for second opinion. Was supposed to obe two weeks with result but coming up to 7 weeks now and am not coping with this situation at all

    I'm sorry to hear you've been waiting so long - I can understand this must be difficult and I know the uncertainty is never easy to deal with.

    The only thing I can suggest is to give the hospital a call to check if there are any updates, or any further guidance about how long you should expect to wait.

    I hope you're able to find out more about this soon. Try to take things a day at a time and focus on keeping busy while you wait, to help keep your mind off any worries.

    Hi Ben 

    Thanks for your reply. It has been really hard waiting, but finally got a call from hospital this morning with an appointment next Wednesday if my biopsy report is back, so hopefully will get some answers then.

    O my Gosh, Sasha!  This must be so hard for you especially as you've also had breast cancer .

    im too coming up to 7 weeks wait - I've told myself surely I'd know by now if it was something to worry about but then think maybe they could be behind / Christmas etc. I think I'll ring too like you have.

    Thanks for your message. I would try to ring the hospital if you can as waiting 7 weeks is too long in these situations. As much as we try to push thoughts back and keep going with positivity it is really tough. I hope you hear some news soon.

    Hi l would ring he consultants secretary if she's working this week. They are really helpful and have sorted various things for me. 
    l hope you have your results soon
