Bladder tumour

Hello 

I am a 44 year old female and was having some gynaecology issues for which my dr sent me for an ultrasound and ran some blood tests ... CA125 came back at 144 and ultrasound showed thickened womb lining and ovarian dermoid cyst (have had dermoids before) but it also picked up a tumour in my bladder (had no bladder symptoms) have since had cystoscopy and ct scan and am having turbt 22/12/22 ... any advice or similar stories that anyone could share would be much appreciated...anyone had turbt and it not been cancer?

    I'm sorry to read that your tests picked up a tumour in your bladder.

    Hopefully, other forum members who can relate to your post will come by shortly to talk with you but until they do I thought I might leave you with some information we have on our website about bladder cancer, I hope this can help a little.

    Also, our team of nurses would be happy to chat with you if you feel that speaking with someone over the phone might help. The CRUK Nurse Helpline is open 9 to 5pm till 22nd Dec then closed till 28th Dec, open from 28th to 30th Dec 9 to 5pm. Then closed 5pm 30th Dec, back on 3rd Jan 2023 to 6th Jan, as normal 9 to 5pm.

    You didn't mention when your next appointment with the medical team seeing you is but I do hope you don't have to wait for too long. Once you know more, come back and give us an update if you find a moment.
