I've got my first appointment for a mammogram and a scan tomorrow I've had blood tests but I am scared will I get my results straight away I don't want to be in limbo
earlier this year I also had a a referral to the breast clinic from my knowledge they most likely give you results straight away. Unless they find anything concerning they want to biopsy.
i was terrified at the appointment but the staff were so kind no issues were found and I was given some great advice on how to check my breasts and sent home with leaflets
Hi they tend to give results on the day if they can, biopsies need to be sent to the lab so take approximately 2/3 weeks. Take someone with you as they can hear what's said as we get flustered and forget. Make a list of questions before you go. They are great in the clinic and the nurses are up to date with treatment ect . I have a "season ticket " for breast clinic due to breast pain. They are happy to see us when we are concerned.
