Hi all 

I am so worried that I have breast cancer. I have had armpit pain for a couple of weeks and upon inspection last week my left armpit felt very hard, on my actual armpit fold (fatty part) closed to the breast. I have felt 2 distinctive lumps and overall the area is very hard in comparison to the right. I saw the GP yesterday who stated she felt it could be a cyst and will refer me non urgently to the breast clinic. I can't help but feel she hasn't properly recognised how different my armpit is to my left armpit, it is so hard and there are two large lumps. She had said she thinks they move but to me I cannot feel any movement at all. Obviously my mind has gone into overdrive thinking that this is a cancer spread and this is totally consuming my thoughts. I cannot concentrate on anything other than this and my Christmas with my little family is completely ruined. Has anyone experienced similar?
