Hello Lee1875, 

I hope that the tablets are helping for the gastritis. I am not sure myself why they took so many biopsies but it's good though that they were being thorough in their investigations. I hope that you won't have to wait too long for your biopsy results and that you get some clarity very soon and find out what is going on. 

I hope that you will hear from other forum members who have been in a similar situation before and had several biopsies taken during their endoscopy and that they will be along shortly to share their experience with you.
