Awaiting diagnosis

Hi

i have post menopausal bleeding at 64 yrs old. It only started a week ago but has become very heavy within the week , everything seemed to happen so fast I have become bloated my pelvic and stomach are tender and have noticed I need to pee a lot more frequently. I had breast cancer 20 years ago and as I had 2 family members who've had this decided to have a double mastectomy. I am going to my first consultation on Tuesday but the wait is torture. Really petrified of the outcome. 
anyone else had something similar?

    Hi judy58,

    I haven't personally but my work colleague who is 66 had exactly the same in September. Heavy bleeding out of nowhere and she was so worried. She had private health care so went straight for a scan and then an internal procedure and biopsy and everything came back fine. They said if it keeps happening she'd need a coil fitted.

    The wait is really the worst but I hope this has given you a little hope.

    Hi thank you for your reply it's good to know there are others in the same position 

    I do have another few symptoms but not sure if it's the tablets I am on to stop bleeding or just nerves!!
