Hi, on Monday my consultation  it will be 12 days since my results, I just wondered if  they are likely to do the colonoscopy that week. My worry is they leave it till after Christmas and I'm already worried enough. 

I was offered a colonoscopy two days before Christmas two years ago,  and I delayed it until after Christmas they fitted me in for 29 December, they seem to work right up to 23/24 dec.  The bowel preparation involves taking a medication to make you empty your bowel, so as you go urgently you need to be at home and near a toilet for a couple of days. 

  l had the same symptoms of bowel changes and pain it turned out to be complex ovarian cysts my bowel was fine.
