Indent in right breast and turned out to be cancer! In shock

Over the past 4 years I have been to my GP and the breast clinic 3 times, the most recent to my shock was cancer.

I have always had lumpy boobs, however just over 4 months ago I discovered a small indentation on my right areola, it was very small, maybe only 10mm in diameter, however I felt that it was pulling my nipple to the side.  I went for a mammogram and ultrasound at the breast clinic and they couldn't see anything untoward at the time, fast forward 4 months (and 4 ½ stone weight lose due to having a gastric sleeve operation) and I discovered an indentation on my right breast with a line going down my breast into a small dimple at the bottom.  I went to the breast clinic and saw the breast surgeon who said the tissue inside my breast didn’t feel like the other parts and wanted me to go for an ultrasound and a biopsy.  I ended up getting a mammogram, then an ultrasound and 6 core biopsies and two rods put in two where the two suss parts were.  I went to speak to the consultant who informed me they could tell from the scans and x-ray’s that it was cancer but need to wait till the biopsy’s come back to tell them what type and what happens next.

I am feeling like I am stuck in limbo just now and in total shell shock.  There is a multidisciplinary meeting taking place on Tuesday and I go to the consultant on Thursday.  Sorry for rambling on, I just needed a place to vent.
