Anxiety is killing me

Hello

I have been to A & E twice during past 7 weeks with low right pain tummy cramps and back pain, first time they said it was Kidney infection then when I went back due to bad diarrhea they said it was e coli, fast forward to this week when I called my Doctor and she asked did they do an ultrasound I said no she has put me on the 2 week pathway and I have done a ca125 blood test and Hypothrpdism (not sure if spelt right) I am now not able to eat and anxiety is killing me as I am now thinking I have ovarian cancer.

Please any advice or help would be so appreciated.

    Hi there I know how stressful the wait is.... I recently had a total hysterectomy due to large ovarian cysts - awaiting the results still. 
    I think from What I have read don't panic- I have literally driven myself crazy with all the thinking and catastrophising but they are doing the right thing by the sounds of it and hopefully you will find it's nothing too serious. I have been waiting 18 months to get to this point because of long weights because of covid and I don't think the time delay has caused any additional problems. It looks as though cysts are really common and some can be fine, some borderline and some cancerous.

    Thank you so much for replying, I have also lost a lot of weight? I am 57 so what worries me it that I have read because I am post menopausal I can't get ovarian cysts? This worry has brought my life to a standstill but trying to be normal for my Family.

    I put on weight and looked 9 months pregnant a lot of the time- I'm 42. 
    the worst part is the waiting- once I found out mine were probably borderline and a plan was in place I felt better. I definitely agree it's the uncertainty that's the hardest - try to be kind to yourself x
