Hi all.

I started experiencing new not period related pain in my right breast only that started about a week ago and got a bit worse. It's a slight burning/pins and needles/aching/heaviness sensation. No changes in the appearance of the breast, I can't feel any lumps.

I've contacted a gp who basically said that breast pain is "usually not a concern", I should take painkillers, get a bra fitting, take primrose oil and contact them again if it doesn't resolve so they could refer me further then. That did not feel reassuring.

Any advice on whether I should as suggested see if it resolves or try to get a second opinion?
