Hi everyone I'm a 32yr old female, I had a ct scan of my chest and they detected a 21mm mass on my left breast just below my nipple

i was referred to the breast clinic under 2ww and was seen within the week, the consultant felt the lump (which I have never been able to find) 

he requested an ultrasound which showed a solid mass. 
they immediatly biopsied it with core biopsy they took 3 samples 

I was told it could be a fibroadenoma but they won't know untill biopsy comes back for sure. 
 

he offered me a face to face or telephone for the results I said either is fine. Being hopefull it's not cancer. 

Am I right in thinking that if he has offered me a telephone choice that it's probably more than likely benign. And nothing to worry about

would they ever deliver bad news over the phone? He's going to send my appointment for results out by letter. 
 

has anyone ever had what they thought was a fibroadenoma turn out to be cancer. 
i have no pain. No breast changes. 
 

I'm not worrying too much but would be interested to hear others stories and how there's was found
