Lump on top of foot

Hi guys,

I've had a lot going on physically these past three years and because of this, a lump that I have had on the top of my foot has not been on the front of my mind. I've had this lump for three years maybe longer, I have gone to doctors about this before covid started and she said that everyone has them but some are more pronounced. But no one I know has it and it hurts at times and because of everything going on it seems that it has gotten bigger but I haven't really had a chance to keep and eye on it because I've had a lot on my mind.

I've tried to get doctors apppointments for other things but everytime i ring at 8 all the appointments are gone and they just don't seem to care and no one in my family seems to be worried, and they don't understand why i am worrying so much considering how long I've had it, but It's firm to touch, but i was wondering if anyone has any experience or stories with this or advice because as a 20 year old I don't know what to do and it's hard when you're young and no one understands your fears and worries. I can't get a doctors appointment no matter how hard i try and because ive gone before for this problem i feel as if they won't take me seriously.

Thanks

Abbie

  • Hello Abbie

I'm sorry to hear that you have an ongoing concern about a lump on your foot.

It sounds as if you're feeling particularly frustrated at not being able to get an appointment at your GP surgery. Do persevere as they are the best people to assess things and arrange any appropriate tests or referrals.

Hopefully you will be able to arrange an appointment soon.

    Best wishes,
