Blood cancer?

Hi,

I recently was sent for a complete blood test after having some pain in my groin. The blood test came back with low white blood cells and hemoglobin. A subsequent ultrasound saw a moderately enlarged spleen.

My GP has told me to isolate until I can see a hemotologist, but said there's a high chance of something cancerous in my blood. I do not have any obvious signs of illness, and actually feel fine.

has anyone had any experience of this type of thing, as the worrying, waiting and thinking is overwhelming. Thanks
