Mri results

Hi guys, 

I'm extremely anxious. I've been experiencing bad head pain, I had a CAT scan and lumber puncture and they said although they can't see the bleed they assume by my symptoms I had a bleed on my brain but as I was still symptomatic of other things they ordered an mri. 
I had my mri at 6:30pm on Tuesday night and received a phone call at 6am Wednesday morning but I missed it. I called back Thursday morning (this morning) and the lady on the phone said it's in my notes that I need to see the doctor at the hospital to talk about the results of the mri at the next available appointment so I'm going in Sunday at 9am. They didn't even leave it 24 hours before contacting me about coming back in and have told me I need to come in asap to speak about the results?! 
Does anyone know if this is normal procedure to be called back in so urgently. I'm absolutely petrified!

    Hi there , glad Iv stumbled across this post as I was searching the same questions. I had a mri scan on weds at 8.30 am The hospital phoned me at 11.00 this morning to arrange appointment for this Monday. I'm panicking as Iv never had my results back so quick. 
     The same petrified. Hope your ok.

    It's so worrying isn't it! Especially the fact she said "you need to come in and speak with the doctor about the results as soon as possible at the next available appointment" like it's urgent. I've felt so sick since the phone and still got to wait until Sunday

    people keep telling me it's probably nothing but surely if it wasn't something serious or nothing came up at all theyd just tell me over the phone or not be so urgent in getting me back in and contacting me so quickly!

    I hope everything is okay with you! I will update this post with what the results are and if the urgency was necessary or not!

    Same here although mine is a telephone appointment but the urgency has gotten me worried. Hopefully it's good news for us both. Fingers crossed we only have Sunday & Monday to wait. I will keep you informed too x
