I'm no expert, but from my own experiences, I would say the odds are fairly strongly against cancer. I had very different symptoms when slightly younger than you (40 and a half, basically) and when I asked the specialist that exact question, "how worried should I be?", he replied "zero. Not at all" and said that if my mum came in with the same symptoms, he'd be considering cancer but at my age, it was the least likely option and I'd be "the unluckiest person in the world" if it turned out to be the explanation. It didn't, thankfully.

My symptoms were rectal bleeding, some weight loss, occasional loose stools (maybe once a week) and trapped wind.
