I hope I'm not over reacting, but I would like some advice if possible please.

About 10 - 12 months ago I cut myself whilst shaving, on the left side of my face adjacent to my left ear (side burn area). The cut scabbed over and appeared to heal, however, a short while after I found that whilst shaving the 'cut' (old wound) opened up again and bled. Yet again it seemed to heal (dried up and scabbed over). This process has occured and reoccured for the past 10 - 12 months. The cut has never properly healed to the point I can touch or rub it without it opening up again. Is this sopmething anyone on this forum has experienced in the past, and if so, would their advice be for me to get it looked at by my GP?

Any advice is much appreciated.
