Hello, just after a little reassurance or similar experiences. Around two months ago I noticed my gland under my jaw on the side of my neck was swollen but I'd had no obvious infection or illness and it wasn't painful. I just noticed it because I felt something when moving my neck. I waited about two weeks before making an appt with the GP who felt it too and suggested it would likely go down within a month as I had no other worrying symptoms. If it was still there in that time he'd suggested blood tests. Well I wait about two weeks but felt worried so returned, saw another GP who also felt the lump and was happy to go ahead with blood tests rather than wait. They came back normal but lump remained so have had an ultrasound. There is another lump next to the main one also, which I felt once I'd notice because I was clearly feeling everywhere like I suppose anyone does once they get worried! The sonographer said it all looked fine and that me and the doctors were just feeling normal lymph nodes. I didn't really ask any questions but wish I had now. Because that doesn't explain why they are swollen - which they must be because I can still feel them when I move my neck in certain positions. They aren't painful themselves but it's uncomfortable having them there, like they push around when I move in certain ways. Now I don't know what to do because I want to just feel satisfied with the clear blood test and ultrasound but still feel really worried that the two lumps are there! Sorry for the ramble, just after some advice as to whether I should push for more tests? Many thanks
