                      sounds like normal effect for having eaten beetroot,but you will soon find out for sure over the coming days. If it was blood you will have seen this on the toilet paper when you wiped, and that would be the giveaway.

Try not to stress too much, just keep an eye out over the coming days,

I didn't see any blood on the toilet paper, it was just in the toilet. It was just scary because it made all the toilet water red even though it didn't even look like there was that much blood in my actual stool.

I have high blood pressure and drink and eat loads of beetroot. I can attest it absolutely turns your poo and everything else red! Given your age I reckon you're fine, but please get a specialist to check you out, just to be sure. 

There's a very very small risk of ut being more than just the beetroot you've eaten.I once had a major panic at how red my then baby sons nappy was, then I realised he had drunk a ton of blackcurrant Ribena and it had turned his poo red.

Keep an eye on it anyway just to feel more reassured.
